PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
Partnership is based upon organizations having active interest in information technology and information security in the academic, public or private sectors. Chapter Partners include associations, user groups and other organizations that participate in increasing information security awareness through the donation of goods, services, time, materials or space. The Partnership Program was established in 2005 and realized at GTC West 2006 through the efforts of Bart Battaglia, of MPA-Sacramento, and Mark (Doc) Dochtermann, of both ISSA-Sacramento and PMI-Sacramento. Under the Partners in Learning program organized by e-Republic, 14 associations and user groups orchestrated presentations and meetings at GTC West 2006. Collaborations contuned throughout 2006 and 2007. Chapter members give presentations at meetings and events of other organizations. Chapters recognize certifications and give training discounts across organizational boundaries. This Chapter even sponsors other organizations. We hope to continue our collaborations and partnerships well into the future.
